Tyrone 'Muggsy' Bogues attended Dunbar High School in Baltimore — one of the most storied high school basketball programmes in American history. The 1982/83 Dunbar team is widely considered the greatest ever assembled: Bogues alongside Reggie Williams, Reggie Lewis, David Wingate and Gary Graham went 29-0 and produced four future NBA players from one squad. At 5'3", Bogues was the smallest player on the court everywhere he played — and almost always the most disruptive.

Bogues became the shortest player in NBA history and carved out a 14-year career with Washington, Charlotte, Golden State and Toronto. His speed, court vision and defensive instincts compensated entirely for his height. He averaged 7.6 assists per game — outstanding for a player of any size. This Dunbar #14 throwback honours the greatest underdog in basketball history at the school where his impossible journey began.
